Ugh.  Only if it's optional.  I want to be able to give ONE common something, even if it means having to do it 12 times for a dozen.

my idea was just to show in the box how much you have or if you have that common item, so if you scroll through the inventory of another play and something catches your eyes you immediately see if you have it or not, without having to enter your inventory to check if you have it

Okay, Mago is talking about extra info.  Chewett is talking about streamlining the transfer of many, many common objects like piles of resources.

My "ugh" refers to the stack being NOT optional, as I want to retain the ability to move just one of a common item.  I don't like stacks in that they are all or nothing.  I want control.

MaGoHi likes the stack system, its primarily his brainchild (somewhat), I believed he wanted to extend it further but maybe this was not his intention.

I'm recently engaged in the study of herbalism and herbology. I'm gathering information on all the herbs that I could find on the main land and storing them in a Book of dried herbs. The main purpose of my studies is to create tinctures, remedies and panaceas. To advance in my studies my first objective is to create a weak panacea, which restores some of the vitality of who consumes it.
I formulated a recipe for an experiment that follows. First, in a pot or a container, macerate a good amount of herbs with rainwater and wait until it forms a base substance. Then heat this substance until it boils. Based on the elementary principles infuse that boiled substance with your vital energy. So finally you just have to bottle this boiled sustance and you'll have a weak panacea.
      In short:
Herbs + Rainwater + Container = Base Substance
Substance Base + Heat + VP + container (Bottle) = Weak Panacea
I'm willing to do this experiment. If you want to know more about it or want to exchange ideas send me a message or drop by Lore Manor.

Shared items will regroup at their original location on every Tuesday at 04:15 AM(servertime). Try to avoid loading cauldron type items or jars close before that time as they will be taken away automatically even if they are loaded or in use. Do not hoard shared tool and do not use alts to store multiple tools of dame type. These items are meant to be used by as many people as possible so if you don't plan on using them let them there for others to try. You shouldn't sell the items but you can sell services related to them such as heat jar loading or whatever else.
The current way this works favours certain time zones over others, therefore I suggest changing the interval of them returning to either random (within a range of times) or at 1 week and 1hour.
With the 1 week 1 hour, it will cause them to regroup in favour of the next time zone each week.
