Please post here if you are intending to create and run a quest during AAA.
You should post your name and the intended name(s) of the quest(s) you intend to prepare and create for the event.
The topic of this particular AAA event is celestial lycanthropy. Basically this means that something about the heavens and something about transformation can be the theme (the self changes, the heavens change, both change, in different causal or correlational relationships). This theme is meant to be your inspiration, to get your juices flowing.
Guidelines: You can have your own rewards, however every participant who completes your quest will get QuestPoints (QP), which they can spend in the QP Shop to obtain rewards. The theme is meant to inspire you, it is not required. However, if your quest is deemed on-theme by a strict majority of your participants, then you, as the quest-creator will get bonus Quest points. Quests should be 20 minutes-72 hours long and open to anyone to complete. If quests are ridiculously easy, committee reserves right to nullify rewards for a portion of QP reward. For time frame go to: calendar page The quest can be any format: clickie, riddles, forum, outside artistry, combat, whatever. There will be a Quest Feedback form that SoE will be requiring participants and creators to use in order to provide points. Upon registering, creators will be given the link to the survey and a unique code for each quest. The creator should put somewhere upon completion of their quest the link and the code for their quest. We encourage quest creators to offer up their own rewards for quests. We just want to provide an environment where rewards (lack of or inability to find suitable ones) isn't an issue. These personally-offered rewards will be additional incentive for participants to complete your quest and will be in conjunction with the QP awarded. The top quest-maker, as determined by utilizing the survey, will receive a WP (possibly multiple winners, depending on the # of creators). The quests should be open during the time period of the event. The quests can stay open longer, but only the ones that are completed within the time frame will generate a benefit for creator and participants to use in event shop. Now, the complicated part...
      Quest Points.
Each time a participant completes a quest, both the creator and the participant get 5 QP each (if the survey is filled out).
The first time a quest is completed (and only the first time) the creator gets 10 QP, not 5. (their bonus for making a quest). So that if I make a quest and 2 ppl complete it, I would receive 15 QP, not 10. 10QP for participants, and 5QP for making quest that at least 1 person finished.
The survey will provide quality control and feedback for creators to hone their efforts in the future (participants should be nice). Using this Quest Point system, creators and participants can give tips to each other. Each player can give a tip 3 times as a creator, and 3x as a participant. Tips are worth 5 QP. Tips are rewarded by participants if they think the quest was really awesome. tips are given by creators when the submission or completion of their quest by a certain participant was awesome. The way this works is: if my quest is a clickie quest and I feel that it should take 2 hours to complete, but someone finishes it first and in 15 minutes, I will give a tip to that participant. Now that player gets 10 QP for finishing my quest. (I could tip a participant who wrote a 4 page novel when I asked for 400 characters, or someone who welded a model drachorn instead of drawing one, for example).  Tipping someone requires an explanation for event staff to avoid abuse.
      Now to the Point shop:

TLDR: You get points for making (if people complete) and completing quests. These points can be spent in event shop. There is a topic for event: celestial lycanthropy, this topic is meant to get your creativeness sparked. There will likely be benefits to making your quest on-theme. Quests must be registered in this topic below. To get credit, each participant must fill out the quest feedback survey upon completion, otherwise neither creator nor participant get credit.

So, the anniversary is over, but a new wave of plushies is descending on the realm.
As you may have noticed, Cyrus Siridius has been caught trespassing Necrovion and met a premature end.
Who is this fellow? What do we know about him? This is what a very accurate autopsy revealed:
You have one week (deadline: May 11 23.59 server time) to draw an avatar for Cyrus Siridius.
Quoting Aia, the drawing should be in black and white (no colours). Ideally, the proportions should be scalable to an Avatar (which, when scaled down, is 160 pixels high and 100 pixels wide) - however, the artwork should be much larger than this, so that it can be scaled down.
The best one, based on forum reputation, wins my entire collection of plushies + 13 silver coins (courtesy of TKs) + a little something else.
In case of a tie, the player with lower Mind Power wins. Should this criteria fail to name a winner, the lower Mind Power with lower number of plushies wins.
Cyrus Siridius is welcome to participate in the voting, and his vote will count x 10. (Ideally, he gets to keep the avatar, in case avatar managers agree)

      Hello everyone!
I am hosting another quest for the Anniversary!
This quest is all about waking up one morning with no idea what happened the night before! (Some of us have there several times)
Now it is going to be a little something like a murder-mystery style thing. I am going to give each player who registers 3 clues. Players can share clues. Players can also share fake clues.
However, there is going to be an "actual version of events" that happened. Each player should submit their version of events to me via forum pm at the end time.
The player who's story is closest to the real thing (by anonymous double-blind judging), shall win! (this is why you can share clues, but every clue you share with someone else makes them have more total clues, thereby giving more information about the story.)
1 WP for the best submission (either creative or closest to pre-determined story). Anniversary creature for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, if 2, 4, or 6+ players participate.
PLEASE PM me in the same message I sent you your clues in. This will reduce the sheer bulk of messages in my inbox. K thanks, bye!

To get your clues, and therefore participate, you must register here!
Registration closes by 5:00Pm ST on 4/14/20

"A recent tour of the Sage's Keep has discovered a new room! While walking around, Chewett2 discovered a new room within the building. How could a new room in a building that has been occupied for 15 years just now been found, you ask? Especially when this building is so big on the outside, yet so small on the inside! Who knows, the obviously original wookiee (chewett2) must have found a hidden gem! Your quest is to describe this new room. Contestants should find ways to describe its layout, its content, its appearance, and even where it is with the route to get there. Players should focus on quality in this contest,  not the speed with which they submit their efforts. Artwork is suggested, it is not required, but it will add points to your score. Artwork will not be graded on talent, but if you draw 4 lines and a stickfigure, it will be graded on effort (to the best of the judges' abilities). This quest has the potential to shape or mold the world around it, thus its rewards have the potential to shape the world of its winner. Remember the context of the sage's keep: who calls this building home? What function has it served? What could be hidden for 15 years? These are all questions that you could strive to answer in your description (they are not necessary to answer, however, nor will answering them impact judging in any way). Good luck!

Rewards:WP for best one. Unique item for first as well.
Anni for first, second, third if (2, 4, and 6+ players attempt it). Plushies for all.
Players shall have 2 week to send, via forum PM their submissions to me. They will be submitted to judges in a single-blind fashion.
Starts on 4/17- ends on 5/5."

If you are looking for some inspiration, check out a similar quest. However, the judges have reviewed all of these entries and will there discard your entry if it can arguably be considered a copy of one of these.
I will post submissions here when judging is completed.

In the spirit of Murmas, I wish to run a quest, and seek sponsorship for the quest rewards.

      Rewards thus far:
1 Voice stone (donated by Burns)
6 Heat stones (donated by Lintara)
630 Iron Ore (donated by Fang Archbane)
6 gold coins (donated by Treasury - 3 to first, 2 to second, 1 to third place)
1 Petrify stone (donated by Jubaris - for the scariest entry)
As it were that Murmas approacheth, so must good spirits.
      Thine quest were so:
Write a Murmas poem, or song, or chant. Thine offering must rhyme, and reference the realm in some way, either of the land, or its beings, or otherwise.
Magic-speak, or archaic-speak, is encouraged, as were wit, and humour, for which further reward should be bestowed.
I seek an offering that may bring mirth and cheer to others this Murmas, which were that which above all must affect the final judgment.
As to the length of thine submission, there remaineth no limit; yet, one must remain entertaining throughout.

Of judgment thereof, such were that of each of the following, a score of up to ten points should be given:
      1. For magic-speak, or archaic tongue, or other mystical construct
      2. For rhyme and prosody
      3. For mirth, and wit - and for this, a double scoring.
      4. For support of those of the realm, that were not scored of the judges.
I shall accept submissions, within the realm, or within this forum, and they shall be anonymous until they are scored.

I would like to have the entries in by Murmas, yet, I know that the other-realm doth pull one away at that time, and so, I shall accept submission if it were late. These may be given to me within the realm of Mur, or within the forum of Mur, afore the great Murmas celebration.

Merry Murmas, and may good fortune befall thee.
