1. I think that is a very good idea, aaront. I have the ability to make both rain and bring out the sun. Phantasm needs to hide in the shadows when the sun is out or he screams in agony. This, I am sure will be a lot of work to implement, should Mur and his people decide to create such a feat. I really think you need to put more thought into your idea, and put all the details in writing, especially the result of the poll and everyone's input, before presenting it to Mur.
I was actually thinknig along these same lines, with a bit of pondering in relation to having 9 AP leftover (at MP3) after each step. Since personally, I rather enjoy Nines as a thrice three, and all the odd numerological connotations that three has. While it seems Mur enjoys 4-fold symmetry from what I've read of his musings, I lean more towards the three-balances in life, so having odd-digits to me is much more balanced than two digits, in my philosophical cosmology. 81 fit nicely into that framework as nine nines, and meshed well with having 90 AP to start with in this game. More specific details I can't quite put into words without filling the page with text, so I'll stop here.
Math makes my head hurt....Ow!

I too wanted to know about 81 ap to get to the East. Numerology, aside. I have taken a different approach that is very obvious. It keeps those not worthy out. Most would turn back after suffering the huge ap loss. Those who are persistent and are patient as Saints....or not...are the ones truly worthy to cross her threshhold.
  4. Windy 647 active days Pub Owner No land Who better than I to take care of your treasure? Anyone who knows me can tell you that I covet treasure over everything else, even, dare I say it, The Wind & Rain Pub. I think I was a dragon in another life. I need something to do, my story line has gone dry, other than The Sisterhood. I have always been loyal to you, Mur. It would be an honor to be your emmisary. I am trying to be more active than I used to be in the past. This position would give me purpose and it will breath life back into my Windyness. I wait with baited breath, your verdict.
there is a very common problem in countries such as mine..ingredient names. Most of the times i can't do any of the recipes i find because they have one or two ingredients that cant be found on this market. Thats just a side note. Find a way to integrate this somehow in md, anyhow..a good example is making pictures of the food you cook and post them here, with MD somehow, depending on what you cook of course. If you get this somehow better integrated i can sponsor it with some wp codes so you can reward people participating. in any case its a sweet idea, i love cooking ideas..too bad i eat more than i spend time cooking. oh...and can't deny i enjoyed yoshi's joke ))
I totally forgot about that issue, Mur. I have a recipe that I would like to share called Cream Puffs that any international should be able to make. The ingredients are just flour, water, and eggs for the Puffs. However, the baking part will be an issue, because it depends how your oven works. Some have to put them on the middle rack, others top or bottom. The cream part of the recipe is just Vanilla Pudding (Not instant) and Whipped Topping. Don't use generic. Use Cool Whip if you can get it or something of equal quality. Stay tuned!
  16. Has anyone gotten Christmas Cards yet? If you do, please acknowledge them here and take periodic web cam shots of you showing your 'treasured booty" off. I know that International Christmas Cards take longer to reach their destinations...I eagerly await the mail man's arrival each day. I love getting cards from around the world!
  17. To me rebels should do what they are suppose to do and that is an old fashioned Lynch Mob. Rebels don't politic, they fight. I would love to see a good role played Lynch Mob!

Thanks so much for taking those pictures or finding them, Apop. I didn't have the stamina to stay awake.
  19. I am so glad you are out of there, Handy. I have one more spot on my ceiling that has black mold that I have avoided cleaning. I just got my roof replaced this past summer. Now that I have the vinegar and bleach idea, I can take care of that problem and get the KILZ that was suggested. SageWoman also has black mold at her house. It is real bad in the bathroom which is a tiny room. I will let her know how to deal with it. The only problem is that the ceiling is pealing. Her landlord should know better. Her landlord is the Funeral Director next door. Hmmm...
  20. Thank you for taking pictures of the Eclipse! I couldn't stay awake for it!

  22.
and here mine are: and here are the lyrics: Twas the night before Murmas, when all through the pub Not a critter was Murring, not even Santa The stocking were hung on the bar with care, In hopes that Mr. Murry would soon be there. The Tennants were lying all snug in their chairs, While visions of Rein-Drachs flowed through their heads. And Orv. in his hat, and I in my helm, Had just settled in the pantry for a quick shut down. When out on the street arose such a clatter, I sprung from my seat to find from my ladder. Away to the window I climbed like a flash, Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. The Sun on the heart of new-fallen rain, Gave the likeness of mid-night to the streets above. When, what to my astounding eyes should appear, But a giant spaceship, and eight tiny reindrachs. With an unseable driver, so lively and quick, I knew in a moment it must be Mr. Murry! More rapid than birdies his coursers they cam, And the whistled and shouted and called them by name! "Now Bob! Now Steve! Now Aky and Renny! On, RJ! On Knatty! On Chewy and Rendril! To the top of the window! To the top of the wall! Now fly away! Fly away! Fly away all!" As dry leaves that, before the wild hurricanes fly, When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky. So up to the house-top the coursers they flew, With the ship full of Toys, and Mr. Murry too! And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof The prancing and pawing of each little hoof. As I drew in my head, and was turning around, Through the door Mr. Murry came in with a bound! He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot. A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back, And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack. His eyes-how they tinkled! his dimples how merry! His cheeks were like rain, his nose like a can! His drall little mouth was drawn up like a bow, And the beard of his chin was as white as the sun. The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, And the smoke, it encircled his head like a wreath! He had a small head and a giant round belly, That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly! He was chubby and plump, a right smelly old Man! And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself! A wink of his eye and a twist of his leg, Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread. (oh how i hope that will still be true!) He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk. And laying his finger aside of his nose, And giving a nod, out the window he flows! He sprang to his ship, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the dawn of a chissle! But I heard him exclaim, 'ere he drove out of sight, "Happy Murmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
Bravo! Darling! Bravo!
  23.
It was surprisingly hard for me to try and come up with as many lines as the poem was. It's probally not very good, but I figured with the season I would make one around the Tribunal. I don't do youtube videos, or any online webcame stuff for that matter. But here is the written words and perhaps I will talk someone into making the video with it instead of me:D Twas the night before Murmas, and all through the East, Sephirah was preparing a wonderful feast. Xcercses was serving alchohol and wine, Truly the night was ever so fine. The Seal of Six were snug in their beds, With vision of chaos dancing in their heads. Phantasm in his cloak and Mur in his crown, Everyone had decided it was time to settle down. When out of the grave there rose such a clatter, We all sprang forth to see what was the matter. Through Jester’s street we saw in a haze, A figure of old was wandering adaze. The sun beat down upon the cold hard stones, The figure aloud did shiver and moan, What to our eyes did we ever see, Granos Del Void laughing with glee. With little reigndrachs, so lively and quick, We knew in a moment what ritual to pick. As our creatures began to assemble with haste, A strange look came Granos's his face. “Now Bootes! Now Woodin! Now Khalazdad and Jazira! On, Marvolo! On, Peace, On Sagey and Akasha! To the top the pub! To the top of the temple! Let us all make this Murmas so simple! As shadows that before the sun does fly, They all sprang together up into the sky. So they did jump up ever so high, A sight to be seen that made some cry. A twinkle in their eye, and a bag in each hand, Presents started to fall all across the land. As we caught the presents flying around, Back to the ground these veterans did bound. They were dressed in their medals and items of old, Oh how they shined like the legends retold. Creatures from the presents and much rarer things, Shades, and Santas, and Drachorns with wings. Their eyes how they twinkled! Their voices so merry! Apparently some of them had been drinking the sheri! All of us gathered round, so amazed by the sight, We all knew that this was the night. Murmas had come with such a delight, With veterans long gone once again in our sight. They remind us of days when things were so simple, With such crazy things as a mouse named pample. Together we joined in a day of Peace, So happy to be with those in the East. Mur smiled as bright as the crown on his head, We all knew tonight was a day for no dread. We spoke not a word, but went strait to the bar, With drinks for us all, from near and from far. The day we thought could not be more complete, When Mur himself stood on his feet. Aloud did he shout so that all could hear, “A thanks to you all for Murmas is here.” More presents did fall as he dissapeard from sight “A merry Murmas to all, and to all a good night.
OMG! I LOVE IT!
