tankfans reacted to Change in Redacted
Fang, you say that this alliance isn't like the Dimensional Shifters because you're not magicians? The entire realm is magic. The rpg idea that 'spells' are the only kind of magic is misleading, especially in magicduel. I'm sure Mur has said that the entire realm is magic somewhere.. if I can find it (I really need to organize everything that Mur has said so I can find particular quotes by him when needed).
But you're right. This alliance isn't like the Dimensional Shifters, because the Dimensional Shifters is and comes across as genuine and intelligent (and the only real connection between the two is an emphasis on exploring) while this comes off as...

tankfans reacted to Silence Dogood in What would you do?
I will create the greatest and the most powerful principle of them all.
~ The Principle of Silence ~
Through it, I will forge a spell of annihilation. A spell which will bring the realm down to its knees. A spell so massive it will twist the tongues of the people who is full of themselves and are annoying. A spell even Mur won't be able to spell.
And that is, the spell that the ancient wizard of Golemus will call: The Global Silence
- "But Mr. Dogood, what does it do?"
- "How many casts does is take to screw in a light bulb?"
Do you not possess a brain? It casts the overlord of all spells on a global scale! A tremendous amout of silence to all the people of the realm that deserves to be silenced... FOR A WEEK.
It can be casted 23 times... A DAY.
Recharges... EVERY WEDNESDAY (except holidays)
This will help the realm to reach its full glory, and to take out the annoying scums of the lands to ever speak again...
Your mouths shall be annihilated...

tankfans got a reaction from Watcher in Which sorts of Quests you like?
I like puzzle quests. They test your logic skill and you don't need to be very knowledgeable in any aspect.
I don't like creative quests where you need to draw or write stories/poems. They are very very time consuming for me, might take me weeks or months to accomplish.
On the other hand, each part of a puzzle quest can be solved at most in a day, I think.
I hope the quest instructions are clear and we don't need to find a certain person to talk to (timezone is really a pretty big problem for me). Hopefully, future quests will be coded in clickies. And the quest starts with hints on the passwords. It would be better if the password have some hints on its structure (i.e. the number of words, format, etc).

tankfans reacted to Lazarus in [Necrovion]Riddle - Tales From The Prison
It seems that Adam's mental problem is getting worse. The other day he was hallucinating and eating the prison bars, yesterday he tried to kill himself, and earlier today is much worse:
Day 351 Year 4
The Deadly Paws

His hallucination and mental illness is getting dangerous for others and for himself. He can kill an inmate if this continues without medical treatment, now he believes that he is a Cat and, apparently, killed Peace. Fiju, an Inmate Healthcare Supervisor is not always around, and I am Bored has no knowledge about health or mental problems, this will not be resolved and will just get even worse as the days pass by...
Watch out for the next installation.
[PN: I created the "Chad" account for all of my characters, but it got banned so I have to speak through this account for all of them, so now I don't talk about Lazarus, I talk about Adam Riddle.]
