I don't know why he wanted me posting that, but it is indeed what came up in conversation.

Innocence seems pretty smart.  She wrote about the sort of attitude that governed actions that actually affected the realm from then to now -- a gradual separation of instrument from merit, a domination of grace over justice.  If that makes any sense at all.

Speaking from a strictly utilitarian perspective, we would want as many protectors as we can possibly get, right?  So why isn't there an influx of new alts into the realm that will in 100 days be able to adept more players?

By the time it's getting to Fang, it's no longer your heat.  It's Falronn's.  And besides, in the long run, most of it isn't going to Fang...right?

Downranked because it should be obvious that mallos is asking why you waste energy on labelling mallos.

Nimrodel raises her proud features and matches Azull's gaze, "A victim is a victim, irrespective of what they have done in the past or will do in the future." Nimrodel turns and leaves, stepping through Necrovion's gate and towards her homeland, her mind set on convincing those of her land, and hopefully others, that a change is needed throughout the realm.

I like Falronn more than mallos, offensive as I know that must be to mallos.  And  I believe Falronn would make a good protector.

So he doesn't have a cause to nullify himself for, so what?  That just makes him like putty in your hands, if he were more consistent.  Perfect protector material, by Nimrodel's reading...LOL

But seriously, where did fang come into this?  Thoughts bleeding between media doesn't work except in offtopic threads, which this isn't...

By the way, a very good initial post here.  If someone were to take up all the things in that first post, which wouldn't be hard at all with the state of the realm, I'd be very impressed.

If that's the case, then there's not much to discuss regarding your candidacy.  Could mods please close?

I read correctly -- you have been biding your time, waiting to have your turn?

Would a game of rock-paper-scissors be more suiting to solving this competition?

dst, you see multiple effects and assume the bad/selfish one's the underlying.  It might be good to learn to allow things to happen and derive the benefit.

And what does this have to do with the topic of this thread?
    [/quote]

The connection is obvious. Fang wanted dst to start insane rumors, and knew that anything he could imaginably do would lead dst to do this.

So dst was the pawn all along!

Ackshan Bemunah reacted to DARK DEMON in The Labyrinth Part 2 (and miniquest)
The Labyrinth is what can be called, in the simplest of terms, a broken mirror. It reflects itself... in itself. Not once but multiple times, in different ways, from different angles. Sometimes the cracks and broken pieces (of glass? something else?) form something new altogether, sometimes they result in incomplete paths or unexpected "edges".

In other words, if it wasn't "broken", it would indeed not be a maze but clear cut paths, easy to travel through. If it wasn't "broken", it would actually have an exact center where everything would reflect, but that is not the case. The center does not physically exist, it is meant to be realized.

The purpose of sharing this info is to encourage everyone to answer their questions (which will obviously be aroused after reading) themselves, if they dare to venture into the Labyrinth of course :D.

Which is why I shall also create a mini-quest!

It is very simple: PM me ingame or through forum, what you think are the coordinates of the exact center of the Labyrinth, and why. It may be very easy or difficult, depending on how you look at things :)

I'll give out rewards based on how logical your answers are. The quest lasts for a whole month (ending on December 11).

    Current list of participants:
    1) Hiria
    2) Lania
    3) Lashtal

    7) Maebius
    8) Azrafar

Respective contexts taken in account, I do not disagree. Similarly, properly contextualized, powle's own post is not mutually exclusive to Marvolo's.

Marvolo speaks of dealing with others.
powle speaks of the community's share of failure.
I do a little of both.
You speak of pursuing a role.

But those messages, which can form a cohese whole as such, are superficially contradictory in spirit, for we have simultaneously advised that he both ignore and consider the opinion of others, in different instances.

For, indeed, while it would fall within what I have argued that Dark Demon learn to tell when a given input is well-intended or malicious, to wholly ignore any input falls very far from what I had suggested.

"If others dislike what you are doing, ignore them and keep doing it.. as long as your actions come from you and who you truly are"

"I am asking you to control yourself because you cannot expect of society to embrace you as you are, with no restraints. None of us can"

Ackshan Bemunah reacted to Rophs in How to: Make a quest
When you are making a quest you should ask yourself this question multiple times during the creation process:

Would I do this quest if someone else made it?
If the answer is yes then keep going If the answer is no then figure out why you wouldn't complete it and FIX IT

I have taken and accepted the advice part of it, but I still greatly dislike the way he replied based on an assumption, on that very topic, and also how he got personal in public in the wrong place.

If he wanted to get personal and talk about just me, he could have PMed me, and still can :)

Edit: Yes, I have problems with misinterpretations too because of the past but I'm trying.

If you come up with a quest and run into an issue that you can't overcome, in a mechanical sense, like you want to use a clickable item but have no coding ability, it's always a good idea to see if someone else can do it for you. You'll usually find people who have stopped participating in quests and are available to help you set up yours. This goes for all parts of the game, not just clickies, but also pretty much every admin feature you don't have.

FYI: you should avoid stating things that you want to hide :)  like "All my future suggestions will be emailed to Council ". It just gives the wrong impression like:
All I could read in your reply was that: I cannot deal with public / I don't care about the rest bla bla bla, I will just deal with Council because they are fewer and I can convince them easier. (and for this you have -1).

Otherwise, I am glad you are back on the right track (again).

Ackshan Bemunah reacted to Kamisha in Inner Circle Magic
I am just wondering as I have been looking through the forums that the fact of Inner circle magic has not actually been talked about (or perhaps its been a very long time since it has last been mentioned). I was just looking at my spells [I didn't remember the cast words I set since I don't use them nearly as often as I used to (because roleplay has dropped off)] and I still see the principle box and the inner circle magic greyed out. This was a feature thought about since conception though little work has been done on it.

Of course this is not all I am going to go into. If its already been implemented I apologize and this can be closed however if it has not I think a construction should be made in order to think about how this feature could be implemented but in true MD style before we construct it we should de-construct it.

The first thing we have to work out is what is outer circle magic and how is inner circle magic different. If outer circle magic is a memory transposed and manifested in the physical/spirit world then what is inner circle magic. It isn't a memory and it comes from something more ingrained them memory and is supposedly shaped from your principles.

So we actually have to go one more step back and ask what are principles.

I'm interested to hear your theories and I have some of my own to offer but its 2:00am and my mind is not in the right place to construct complex thoughts so I will be coming back to this tommorow (or rather much later today) in order to offer my own incites and thoughts.

I think this might actually be a lengthy and interesting thought process during the deconstruction phase even if it doesn't actually get anything implemented.

P.S. Please only start with what are principles and try not to jump ahead. In order to keep peoples minds open and not swayed one direction or the other doing a complete deconstruction can simplify the process. The inner circle may not seem complex at first glance but there is allot more to it then you may think.
