  1. Winderwild Parmesan I have cooked a version of one of my very favourite meals in the other realm. For MD purposes I have utilised the meat of a winderwild and have dug up some wild growing vegetables from the community garden, left by former gardeners. The soft cheeses are from knator milk. Recipe Chicken Parmesan: 1 breast of winderwild Tbsp soft cheese 2 cloves garlic 1 small ball of mozzarella Black Pepper White pepper 1 red onion 1 tsp aromatic herbs (oregano) 1 tsp sumac 250g squashed bushies (passata) 1 winderwild egg

  2. Today Fyrd did elaborate to myself of an issue with the maps, other than the map of Realm 1. It is noted that the map background artwork is absent, but the markers for player locations are still functional. One notes that the map for realm 1 were different - in the sense that the map is comprised not of a solitary background illustration, but instead of multiple illustrations displayed as clickies; other realms (such as realm 3 and 7) are instead coded as a background illustration. Below were the result when one attempts to access the map from a location outside of realm 1.

    Birthday Cooking Quest!

This is a classic Grasan steak, well done. You will need: 2x Grasan steaks - Don't be stingy 1/2 large tub of aged Jade Garden egg fried rice 2x Winderwild eggs 1x extremely rare herb... an Onion Some Sunfire Oil You will be pleased to know this recipe DOES NOT use entire stacks. The first step is to gather all your ingredients together and take a picture. This is the most important step, so don't forget to do it. Why? Why not... Next, you want to place your steak into the frying pan. Heat it, eventually, and let it cook

  6. Similar issue, clicking outside the frame used to close it, that behaviour doesn't work for me anymore. Clicking left or right of it works fine, but underneath doesn't anymore.

  8. Unfortunately I was unable to scan this picture earlier, or take a picture of it. Even though it's late, and I don't suspect it will increase my score, I feel that I should post it nonetheless. I would be curious in the breakdown of my submission, either on here or privately.

  9. The results are in! I'd like to thank everyone for their participation. Without further ado, here is the result I came up with: Allow me to explain the logic behind the scores. The winner is determined by total points. The "detail" column represents how well you explained your concept. Everyone starts from 10 points, the subtractions represent details I was missing (in most cases this was because you explained "how" a certain thing works, but not "why"). I also took into consideration how well you explained your concept relative to the other submissions. The "lo

  10. Alright - time to write commentaries! Aia: Her strategy consist of 2 simple states, and a way to "seed" the encounter. Her first move is determined by a pseudo-random criteria (if she's facing a male or female opponent). She has 2 states: countering her opponent last move, or lose against it. Swaps every 3 turns depending on performance. Notably, she also checks for fixed patterns - and although it's not too useful against most strategies, it does work against Ledah's. However, it is also quite slow to adapt to match condition, and even if one of the two state cou

How can I bring night in MD?

Bringing the night in MD...that's blasphemy! I always like it hot and sunny, although the question I get is invariably 'What are you, a lizard?'. But where there is sun, there is also a moon, where there are the Soldiers of Inner Sun, there are...their counterparts. The (permanent?) Sun was made a symbol in MagicDuel, but that didn't stop Mur from giving Night a place in here as well. It didn't stop him from giving the Children of the Eclipse a place in the alliance ranks. It didn't stop him from creating a dream interface and people who can dream while it's hot and sunny. You'll hav

  13. Try to understand what parts of your MD activity you no longer enjoy to do but you are still doing, and start by changing that. Set yourself only fixed hours and time intervals you wish to be around, and whatever happens simply don't come here outside those intervals. If you wish to quit entirely, close up lose ends, decide what people you still want to be in contact with and keep a different communication channel with them (like facebook, discord, email). I knew many people that at some point decided to leave, but a year or two later decided they want to return, so my advice i

    Rock, paper, scissors!

TLDR: My strategy was build on being as unpredictable as possible, and only striking when I need to to get just enough of an edge to win the match. The base of my strategy reveals itself in the results. It is the only strategy that isn't hard countered, but also does not hard counter any other strategies. My strategy isn't build to come out on top all the time, but aims to come out on top more often than the others, at which it succeeded even better than I expected (With the exception being when up against Pip, which I'll get to). Random wins 50% of the time against any strate

  15. So adding shards to my test bird, it was 100 for the first, 900 for the second. I removed/recycled a shard and recovered just 100, and it says 900 are still embeded, and that it will cost 900 more to embed something else. Shouldn't the returned shard (dropping me from 2 to 1) have pulled off 900, instead of just 100? Later: removing second shard does get back 900. Even Later: More testing, the wonkiness only occurs if I recycle the first shard installed. If I recycle the second shard I installed, it works as expected.

  16. Well... I pushed him to make this quest, and god forbids me from not submitting an entry into a cooking quest! So I present: The Runny Chocolatey Brownie of Addiction! Ingredients: 8 Winderwild eggs (preferably the unfertilized unhatch-able chicken-like kind). Replace with Angien Eggs if you're filthy rich without a moral compass. Replace with Drachorn Eggs if you have a death wish. Just not Elemental Eggs *glares at Fyrd* Butter, two sticks. I have no idea how you'd even find them, perhaps Taurion might know where you can get some. Sugar, about 1.2 cups. Crush

  18. I believe Mur did not jest in creating of this message; it seems that the rendering of various scenes is completely altered in Firefox as compared to Chrome (or other Webkit-based portals); one very clear example is the final row of hexagons at the Champion's Challenge.
