I had a conversation tonight with a friend, who was able to better point out things to me that I did not see before, perhaps because of my anger or what have you. They also suggested a few things which I think would be great changes.
2.Eon actually helps re-inforce the idea that anyone can beat anyone with enough pre-planning. The only one who can't be beaten easily is Eon herself. And the tools aren't to make up for a mistake, they are actually there to get people to leave him alone and handle this themselves. The way I see it. Mur tried to create a world, where most of the bad human habits could be avoided. But since we are all humans there always will be some of us, who don't actually want to create a different character than themselves. So they invent a name and enter the game. And this is how the bad human nature overruns this world. It's unavoidable as long as we stay on our current state of mind. When the humankind advances to the next state, then MD could live up to my and many others expectations. So far we have many tools, but I personally can't afford the time to even explore how they wo2 points -

I decided I have enough and I am going to say exactly what I think. In some ways this should be private between Mur and myself. But in other ways, no it deserves to be public. Mur says he allows free speech and this is the view of ONE person in MD. Anyone is free to agree or disagree with me, so by making this public I am opening myself up to as much insult, injury or plain old abuse as Mur is getting from me because of what I have written (or not). Rhaegar, How many LHOs are from Loreroot? Also, how many events has Loreroot run each year? Because I think that there has not been a year since I have been king that Loreroot has not organised some kind of event. There have been fighting events, quiz things and other contests. There is a constant quest running from Mya aimed at newbies and letting people into Loreroot. And even if you don't like them there are the services etc that COE do. Now, what events have been run by MB? GG? or Necro? By the way, I don't care about what other lands do or do not do event wise. I for one am not havin1 point -

My opinion: Certain administrative spells should not be able to be imprinted on Memory Stones. The community should be able to act on this matter and handle it itself, I'm just saying that that is my opinion. Not all spells should even be possible to be available to anyone who wants to buy. However, any spell that is just for administrative use will only be given to players that The Powers That Be deem worthy, and having deemed them worthy they really should be free to use them as they wish, with the constant risk of having the ability and more removed for abuseing them.1 point -

Whether anyone might believe it to be ridiculous or not, many arguments start from people simply not understanding one another. It is a human trait to want courtesy and mutual respect. I feel that honestly a lot of things are not handled very well in MD, and that Firs has a reason to speak up- but that his reason, no matter how well intentioned it is, is being fogged by his general upset. There is some truth to what Firs says, and I don't think he's just saying it to whine or whatever. I have the feeling that Firs is genuinely concerned, despite him being argumentative. If we consider Mur as our ingame god/hero/overlord, which is not all that far fetched considering his powers, i simply can't resist to reverse your argument: Why would god do what you don't want to? God told Noah to build an arch, and gave him instructions, tools, skills and resources needed, but he didn't build it. He had Noah build it. Why did he do that? He could have snipped his fingers and the arch would've been there, right? God helps them who help themselves, Aesop knew that 500 BC and wrote it in 'Hercules and the Wagoneer'. Kyphis the Bard reacted to Chewett for a topic
Spells are Wonderful because they work on anyone, regardless of age or anything. Having spell stones allow younger players to have some spells via quests and paying for them, players who have yet to earn wishpoints. I see the spell stones are a great way to put more magic into magicduel. Because now its much easier to temporarily get a spell and have some fun with it. What you are suggesting, is to remove spells from newer players, removing one of the only places in the game where anyone has an equal chance to do things, since spells are not based upon any factor of that player, and "jus1 point -

I like the idea here, but it ignores the administrative nature of said spells...and the ‘spell’ bit. Unfortunately, some of the people with them are also ignoring that. In theory, those who earned those spells should have the same pickiness and responsibility in terms of distribution, just as it was hard for them themselves to have been taught the spell imo. Still, cant win either way, then people would complain too about 'vets hogging spells' or something. My suggestion for now based on this sort of thing- if someone who learned it from a memory stone tries to use a spell, then something ab1 point -

I have to disagree Darigan. The real issue as I see it is memory stones. Currently only a few people actually have spells such as Send to GOE. And generally these spells have a particular reasoning and purpose. As Chewy stated, sending people hiding during TC. I myself have also used Send to GOE to help people that are stuck in the maze or some far flung part of MD that would require 5 billion Ap to get back from. No, as I see it the real issue is that with power stones, the number of people and number of casts of these spells has increased. There could be an argument that some spell simply s1 point -

Simply saying nothing gives the impression that you either don't care, don't acknowledge or are too cowardly to admit the mistake in the first place. And you never apologised or admitted you were in error. I'd have taken an admission as at least a grudging apology. Where I am coming from that is a complete lack of respect. The loudest voice is heard the most, and Loreroot is sure good at shouting. I'll give a few examples, first, an obvious one: Darigan vs. Eon. The addition of the research and connections seemed like one of the most exciting additions to MD for me in a long time. Since it has been almost a month and nothing new has happened (ie no new clues, no ability to submit research, no way to unlock level 3+ clues) I wanted to check back to see if this feature was still going to be implemented. As far as I can tell I have already unlocked the 16 readily available clues (+2 new ones in necro with the halloween party) is there any way to help with this feature? I would be happy to help if there was a mechanism or desire for volunteers by the P0 points

2. Take the Dagger and Shovel for example. Both exist, and are usable, however the people who possess them either refuse to intervene, or will only do so for huge profit. Um what shovel? If you are revering to MY shovel of the CTs. First off I think people have a huge misconception of what it exactly does. Second, how many people have actually been killed by the dagger? I assure you death is not something taken lightly. The people can't be gathered to do so every single day at all times. You seem to have a sense of what role play is, but I do see that you did force actions onto Arion. That is referred to as god modding. I can't say much about your character, as I wasn't present during the time that you did this role play...but I do think that there is much room for improvement. Try to give the other player more room to respond to your threats if you're going to go about with the RP fighting. Instead of saying '"wills [insert random sparkly action here]" Say.. "Slings [insert random sparkly action here] toward Arion." This gives the other player room to decide for himself if0 points -

My only suggestion for this topic is to make teleport spells not be able to teleport players out of sanctuary locations (or maybe give them a pop up to accept in a sanctuary). Sanctuaries are where people go to be safe from attacks and many people idle in those locations, this way they could be truly safe from attacks, rather than waking up to find they have negative stat damage or having to log out whenever they go away from the game. It also wouldn't mess with heads contest as you aren't supposed to be able to score in sanctuary locations anyways.0 points

can one be teleported to another place even he/she is logged out? I was at Wraith's Wreck (GG) last Saturday and logged out (obviously not IDLE) around 11:00:00 Server time due to a personal matter i have to deal with. and today is my first time to log into the game since Saturday, and i found myself at GoE, saw Eon and with personal luck, power fluctuated here (but i do not complain with that). This, to me, seems a little unfair seeing as the armour you get depends entirely on your VP. Also, there is the Necrovian bone set, which few can get, but is by far more "scary" than any other armour set. Is there some leeway for the MP and age of the player? For this would have some effect on how they can get their "costume". Edit- This isn't a rant by the way :3 Just a thought I had.-1 points -
