Ive been contemplating the idea of setting up a new server for a radio station, and someone who will be known for the sake of this as "Mango" suggested that I make it for MD... What I would like to know what are people's thoughts on something like this, also would anyone be interested in participating in it for a test phase? Post your Qualms, Suggestions, Complaints, Flames and other thoughts that you may have...

Ok ill chime in because im one of the RPC's who gathers heads. And i hope those who have seen me chime in as well. I gather heads, like any normal player. The focus of the general talking would be about the people of md, commentary on the events major and minor, philosophical discussions (mind you that may or may not be there based on the test audience), What it would more less boil down to is people having conversations they they would normally have outside of md related to md only, it would be people who are much more interesting than most (unless you count my involvement ). Not that this has anything to do with your idea, but while we're at it... I think it would be cool to organize the list of players in an area by MP level.

Seeing as Magic Duel is an online roleplaying game, I think it's important that people roleplay. An online game without roleplaying is simply mechanics without flavour. It would be battles only, there would be no adventure log, no quests, and every room would be filled with chat about the weather, work, common gossip, and the like. that sound like the theory of WP's. A new idea should be original. Even with RPC's monitoring, there would still have to be an overseer, someone who mainly just watches it... One of the main things i notice lately is it's alot harder to find specific people, and the logs make it hard as well as the alts of people are normally ridiculously high amounts so one person would recieve a reward and then their alt would for the next thing etc. so finding abuse that way would be a hard thing to do imo. and with the trading of things going on i wouldn't be suprised to see the alt trading with the main s

Think I may have caught this idea from someone else but... What if there were a set of standardized, easy quests on every RPC "Q" page. Example : A quest to go get your documents, which rewards a standard amount, something pretty easily acquired, like a silver coin or whatnot. Again, this exact same quest would be viewable on every RPC. These simple quests could be limited to MP3 levels in order to encourage people to stay interested in the game, and involved. Obviously getting your documents is a one time deal, but you could potentially even have repeatable, easy quests.

The one thing I didn't see mentioned here is Free Will. Unfortunately, Free Will makes everyone do things he usually wouldn't do until someone comes along and shows him that anyone can. Now before anyone becomes sarcastic, I am speaking of puns and not really being specific about Free Will (whomever he/she is). I hear things like people don't eat or bleed a fair amount, but there is a lot of blood in this game, in the AL, and food is occasionally mentioned. The AL seems to treat people as physical beings, not some floaty spiritual beings. It'd be awful boring if we all were. As for fighting, it doesn't really work out too well unless it's based off of the built in system, or if everyone involved is willing to cooperate. It is a good idea indeed but I must agree with chewett.It would require painstakingly huge amounts of time to create and get running.
