At least in Canada you can print on the front "certificate inside do not bend or crumple". Its worked so far as my diplomas and arborculture license certificates are in good unfolded condition when they arrive.

I think the reason we are going through this is to clean the tag system. Remaining the tag system as is would simply be allowing the tag system to stagnate.
Basically it seems like things are going systematically in a semi logical order:

    1) Tags determined as holding special importance are Identified.
    2) Tags that could qualify as titles are identified.
    3) Tags granting authority is determined.
    4) Tags are reviewed and edited

The tag system is technically implemented and a plan is set out. Basically its going to messy if we aren't going to opt. for a total tear down and rebuild of the tag system.

I actually have to agree with lash on this one. We don't need to dwell on a system which has no real impact on a persons play experience. If you are actually hurt by a negative reputation score you are obviously too sheltered. I have face to face rejection and shrugged it off and I have to wonder why a bunch of peoples digital avatars actually seems more harmful to people.
I often look at things from a detached point of view and this makes me unpopular and I am willing to take the negative reputation for that.

My final point of view is the Wookie can do what ever he wants to do with it but I see regulating it in anyway is not really necessary for such a trivial system.

I simply do what needs to be done. We need to vote somebody out. There are times when you need to act others when the best option is to remain passive.

Couldn't we employ a similar system to that in GG with NPC's. This of course only at the MP3 levels (and maybe MP4). I'm not saying flood the system with what was done in GG but a steady trickle coming out of the house of liquid dust may work. We want them to fight people but when there are not enough people a supplement may be required.

Part 2 is written write in the implementation. You click on the bush it talks about what mur wants to do I am actually quoting him right in this post word for word I am simply providing a viable solution to what he wants to do. - allow only a defined set of people to gather, based on something to determine they involvement with the process, while still allowing stealing somehow. The reason I implement the first parties is so that is a team effort in order to hold garden resources. Also it is going to take time to grow. The third statement that he makes is that a amount of water added per day will be limited with a time limit - add time as requirement of the process (total time, requested incrementally based on how many resources have been already loaded. For example it will need to pass 1 more day before loading more than 80 water).

I am simply posting a plausible solution. Before you post again get your facts straight and tell me how you would handle it.

O.K. now that my cognitive abilities are fresh I will try to explain farther.
Now considering chapter 2 I think we should make it clear that it is not going to continue. Considering I haven't been around for a while (we where just beginning to talk about it when I left last) it might be a good idea to make it clear in the game world. Under construction or to be continued may confuse new players. One of the things we need to work on is not just bringing in new players but retaining them. That is why there is always a vet in the paper cabin (or should be in the paper cabin).

As for trading between lands that has been a failed attempt at creating what I think was meant to be a diplomatic tool. The GG lands as far as I can tell have made no trades and MB has made at most a couple with lore root and necro as far as I can tell there are none. More trades could be induced by tools able to change there loyalty requirements to a different lands. I think in the past during the introduction of this feature there was talk of allowing lands to attack and plunder other lands for tools.

As for alliances I don't really think they are fulfilling there purpose. An alliance has been in the past a way to actually get a home land now there is citizenship. Relax now I am not suggesting the abolishment of having a citizenship. I don't really have any particular draw to a any alliance so if I ever want a home land it will be simple citizenship not an alliance addition.Back to alliances they no longer have fear of loss of alliance or being a more powerful alliance does not have any major awards or advantages. When I used to create clans in other games there was always that drive to do better or in the beginning just get enough members in order to allow it to work autonomously in my absence.
Alliances here I understand are different they are power positions that fulfil a need. Example would be water dowsers control Marnid bells water supply and wood cutters control Loreroots wood supply and caretakers are a RP alliance that make sure the rarely visited east lands are maintained. When a alliance starts to fall apart it no longer has enough members in order to it to be considered an alliance and thus no longer full fills its purpose. When a alliances need is abolished due to people leaving and becoming independents the alliance should be dissolved since they no longer fulfil what they where created for.
A cruel but good example would be putting down a horse that no longer races and replacing it with one that does.
These dissolved alliances should be able to be reformed but if they no longer have the ability to fulfil there need there is no need to have them and the fear of being dissolved would keep them trying to keep a quota of members that would allow them to preform.

That is how I see it at least.

Kamisha got a reaction from Maebius in Heat
Now one of the things I did when I was basically analysing this game for a paper in university There where several things I touched on. One of these was heat and its influence in the game. Since then it has not changed much. Actually it is likely the only thing that has remained and likely will remain a static constant. Ok lets get started. There are three different types of heat in MD there is Unstable Heat, Stable Heat, and stored heat. Stored heat is the simplest to understand. When I creature fights (Win or lose) it gains or loses a heat value. Think of stored heat as experience which can increase or decrease dependent on the results of a battle (along with wins and other things(I could go into battle but that is a completely different animal)). Luckily stored heat is the easy to explain and anything I said on stored heat is completely independent of Unstable and Stable heat.

Unstable heat and stable heat are completely separate. They are managed by the Elroin device in the top right corner. Unstable heat is gained by anything that is an action (anything that uses action points) which makes sense considering that organization balances to chaos. Any action that uses energy transfers potential or kinetic energy into a useless energy called Heat. When energy turns into heat inside our world it is lost into the universe as EMR (electo-magnetic Radiation). In the Magic Duel universe this goes through an intermediate step and gets captured (on the Elroin device) where it is more slowly released to the MD universe. We can also turn it into a stable energy by some sort of magical property of the Elroin Device to use later. It seems also through some magical means the more of it we have the more state increases we get per fight so to conclude this in a simple definition of what heat is in MD.

Definition: Heat is a Bi-product of action.

What you should actually define is what is the elrion device.
