Whilst saying this isn’t a personal issue, the way the introduction to this is written does come across as very personal and quite vindictive. Not only that, but you caveat wanting discussions relating to this coming about to stay in their respective threads, thereby removing discussion of the issues here that caused you to create the poll in the first place.

As for hearing Chinese Whispers of what people do: Don’t let someone else’s personal views ruin your own objectivity and sense of perspective.

There'll probably be nobody who reads this before casting a vote, but still:

Grido has been Inquisitor for about 2 and a half years, and has dealt with hundreds of issues in that time. Out of those hundreds of issues, only very few get any publicity at all, and out of those few, only a slim percentage was handled in a way that was wrong to my perception.
If we judge everybody of such an age on the wrongs we can dig up, we're all cheaters, liars and bastards. Grido surely isn't the exception to that rule.

There are enough cases that were handled with all the care they needed to be handled with to outweigh the few sins.

Otherwise, John 8:7. (To our friends who aren't christians: That's a reference to the new testament)

The poll question can skew the results since it is a premise with 2 clauses rather than two premises. I suggest decomposing the question.

Personal? He is horrible all around.... He has never done anything to me, but I see and hear about the things he has done and quite frankly when I seen in the Triggers and login page about Phantom Orchid. I said.. Wow, I wonder what she did to him personally to piss him off this much. I fail to see how he can make that event public like that, not just public no... Made sure that everyone in MD knew. Honestly, the only LHO in the whole mix that I figure deserves the role is Mya... DST is a *****Ing joke and a bad joke at that and she gets to go around and be an anti LHO in an LHO position..

Meh, this game is a damned joke now. I don't even care if I get banned or thrown in jail anymore. May just quit indeffinately.

Metal Bunny reacted to Grido in Demotion of Phantom Orchid
First clearing up the dst incident, the actions she undertook were within the rules of the game, yes she annoyed people, yes she used the item to silence seig (it was him, right?). She annoys a lot of people, a lot of people would probably go as far as saying they hated her. What she did whilst borderline was within the rules of the game, though she did receive a private punishment, she has since also been punished by Mur for her cumulative behaviour - I would expect this to happen again for a longer period of time if she continues to act similarly. Since the event there has even been an announcement posted;
""Ann. 2020 - [2011-09-21 17:25:32 - Stage 11]
...Like with any other item or ability, you are free to use it as you wish when you wish.""
But I reiterate, there was a private punishment. It was not ignored.

Before getting further into this, I would point out that whilst I may not put her in the "friends" category (due to not sharing much personal information with her, or chatting regularly), I would certainly consider myself to be friendly with her, I have no personal negativity, or grudge against her of any sort, other than the action that caused the demotion.

The distinction between dst and Phantom Orchid is that selling bugs and exploits is one of the many unwritten rules, one of the most known ones as well. An LHO is an elevated position within the game, they are given spells, and authority to guide new players. In my opinion the position of an LHO has a trust-able image, and also a knowledgeable one - they should be aware of selling bugs and exploits being against the rules, and also how to recognise what one is.
I reference IaB's Profile - where Mur has edited into his Game Mechanics shop that it's closed. I'm sure there's a clearer example of Mur saying it, but I can't currently find one.

I am classing this not really as a precedent, because it was in place anyway, so essentially a re-precedent. Making sure people know that this behaviour is not accepted by myself - certainly not by those wanting to be LHOs. As has been referenced already, "LHOs should know better".

I would like to clarify for Tarquinus, I did not say her offence was minor, I said that the exploit/bug was. Selling bugs and exploits is not a minor offence, but due to my doing this, I personally am taking no other action, if Mur or the council decide otherwise that is up to them.

Lash, whilst you may not consider you have been, I know what it is, what it's worth, and you were ripped off. I repeat that the role of an LHO expects that she should realise an exploit when seen.

Ignore you, Metal Buns? never.

In response, however, I have to use Dst as an example simply because of another thread going on:
There is a claim against Dst. There have been many claims against Dst. However, does Dst ever get in trouble? Does anyone ever publicly state any opposition to her [except Pipsticks and Fenrir]? Has anyone ever tried to change the fact that she's got more power and influence than she needs and thus, abuses it? Nope. Not a single one.

You people whine and groan and cry all the time about things that need to be changed. So why not whine cry and groan about the social aspect of MD? As MB said it, 3-4 people posted the same thing. I'm tired of it. I'm tired of MD. I'm frankly, tired of a lot of people in MD. And I know that nothing will change because no one cares. No one cares to get out of the muck their in and change. The apathy in this 'game,' 'world' whatever it is, is so smothering.

No, I'm not being negative. I'm being realistic because it is the TRUTH.

Metal Bunny reacted to Chewett in Pothos Rep Spamming
Pothos decided it was a good idea to give one member -49 reputation yesterday, and he was only stopped from continuing this by the fact that he had also given another member -1 which means he most likely hit the maximum amount of negative reputation in a day.

For this he has been given a minimum 1 week banning from the reputation system, and if he continues this once the ban is lifted the time period will be substantially more.

Using the reputation system to show your dislike is fine, Going through someone posts and specifically marking + or - on them is not fine and will be punished.

I've been here longer than most and this is.. I think.. topic (in spirit) number 3, maybe 4. Don't get me wrong, all I am saying is, is that it has happened to other people before and yes, they left. I never did that, even though I would meet people who would annoy me more than a mosquito bump on your buttcheeks.

The realization I had however, was that, MD is much like people in real life, except that in the greater majority of cases in real life, you can't just quit the game, or at least, the overal greater majority of us don't. Why? Because walking away from those people and ignoring them is so much easier. It takes some time to get used to just ignoring people, and yes, it does lead to the problem of cliques and inside cliques you can have the same s**tty drama as well. However, as older people may have I realized in the way that I am active in MD, is that there is a way to strike a balance inside of MD's social networking.

Another problem with ignoring people is that, you somehow feel like you are cheating yourself off of MD time and that you're actually stuck in this habit of going on there and discuss or get annoyed and fight, etc.
But this is something everyone faces. There are causes to pick up and fight for, and then there are causes that are a hopeless cause and should be ignored. Wisdom here comes not from others' advice, but knowing yourself more clearly as to who you would ignore naturally...

Don't you ignore me, young lady..

Anyway.. uh.. yeah, any time you deal with people, you should just treat them like people. It's what I did with.. a lot of people, and they are all gone now, yay

I have to agree with what Sasha has been saying.

I am SICK and TIRED of all the harassment going on in this game. Where are all your spines, people? WHY AREN'T YOU STEPPING UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIVE FOR?

It's because you think that nothing will be done, right? Wrong.

There was absolutely NO need for this behavior. This is MALICIOUS and VINDICTIVE behavior simply because Dst dislikes Innocence and most of all, only wants to run people out of the game for her own personal pleasure.

Dst. I post here because yours seems to be locked, probably because you know what others would say to you.

Firstly I have to say that I find it disgusting that you seem to always be looking out for other peoples mistakes when you have so many of your own. Hypocritical of me? Maybe, but still applies to yourself.
Secondly, I assume they would be in a very remote location, meaning high viscosity, to do such a thing. This would mean that:
1) Noobs wouldn't be able to access the area easily,
2) No one usually passes through.
3) That they knew what they were doing wasn't really "allowed" in the public, hence why they went for privacy.

I am not defending their actions. I am criticising yours.

You know that there are other ways of dealing with this than posting in public their names and what they were doing, especially in a topic that is locked for your own, nasty, needs, meaning they cannot defend themselves. Rather sly and despicable behaviour, no?

A while back you accused Fenrir of Harrasment and Slander. Hypocritical? Seeing as you do this regularly to nearly everyone.

As a final point I would like to add:

Not everyone knows about the Sunny Bedroom perhaps next time tell them the rules and about the fore-mentioned place.

You might as well waited for us to get the right words to express this.

It isn't an easy thing for us either, to see one of the most important lands (in my opinion at least) on its downfall from nothing else but political issues. It is a land that has caused conflict in the past and has suffered from it, were it an action or a person that caused it. Yet it survived but it caused it to stagnate. All those in political position, including me as well, made sure of it.

After Khalazdad, the land took a different direction. Some of us chose to rule it peacefully but it wasn't what others wanted forcing us to take different actions and trigger disaster.

I still haven't been able to gather my pieces and speak of it, the only thing I can say is that it was an innevitable thing to happen, we ALL are the cause of this more or less. But perhaps now people will realise what Necrovion really is and what it means.

No King anymore? I find it fitting. I objected the first time elections for Necrovion took place, even if I was the one elected. There should never be a King or Queen in a land that was inhabited long before we all came into the picture and had someone or something with power over it already.
No alliances? What is a badge other than a symbol that follows you around when most did not even know why they wore it on the first place.
No homeland? Home is where your heart is, where your allegiances lie.

You say it is a conclusion. I think of it as a fresh start. It will take time but we have plenty of it. Those who were true in Necrovion will stay and preserve its values.

It should be best if someone FROM Necrovion speak of this. Currently we are in the state of chaos. I ask for patience and not questions. I am aware that people need answers but I and others must first answer to those of Necrovion. Then the rest of the world.

Be patient, embrace the change as it comes and do not oppose it. In the end, if you think about it, it is what it was needed.
