Zyrxae reacted to Change in Bushies automatically watered by rain
I'd think it'd be neat if the bushies were automatically watered by rain. Basically, have each plant act as a rainwater collector item.
So, after 40 minutes of heavyrain, each bushie would be fully watered and ready to harvest.
Of course, you can water them yourself to help speed up the process. It would be also nice if rainwater did help to replenish the lakes, wells, etc., around the land. That would help to prevent the usefulness of buckets from decreasing. (Having the bushies automatically watered by rainwater would decrease the usefulness of buckets, while having rainwater refill lakes and stuff would increase their usefulness again).

Zyrxae reacted to Mya Celestia in Apologies
I'm not sure you intend it this way, but your apology is coming across as a child that is being forced to apologize like when a parent says, "Say you're sorry."  Those are rarely sincere and hold no real regret.  Had this been in the real world and you splashed these accusations in the media, you could go to jail for slander along with Chewett being able to sue you for damages.  A true apology apologizes, admits wrong doing and tries to make a mends in some way.

Magistra. I do believe that you owe chewett a little more than just an I'm sorry. You should apologize and try to make amends with him. Maybe offer to help him out with something.

You should also apologize to Mur, as there is not enough evidence to show anything and you did waste his time. An apology should be given to him, not an it's his own fault he didn't need to get involved. That just sounds rude and stuck up and I believe you should treat him kinder than that, because he was only trying to sort out this problem. Just because it did not go the way you wanted it, does not mean that he did it to punish you.

Also, Rophs deserves one as well as he had no involvement in this whatsoever.

After you have done all this, then I believe that you should be given some leeway, and a shortening in sentence/release from jail. Otherwise, I do not see any chance of you being able to get out until your sentence is over.

Now can we just end all this crap? I'm so sick and tired of this whole ordeal. It is giving me a headache and really starting to piss me off. Can we just drop it already and be done with it? Let it just be part of the past and move on with our lives. I come on this game to get away from the stresses of real life. I don't want to deal with drama here as well, otherwise I am better off not being here at all.

For the first tag, how about simply "Thief!"
Anyone with the Thief! tag could be grabbed like a fugitive, as Kyphis suggested, although maybe their punishment shouldn't be jail but the pillory (movelock + throwable rotten tomatoes at Plains of Deceit)

"Vigilante" (props to Soothing Sands) would be a good option for the tag of taking back stolen property, possibly including recovering other people's stolen property for them (player A steals from player B and runs away into Golemus, whereupon B asks C, who has GG loyalty, to go after A. C tracks down A and retrieves the stolen item, then returns it to B...or decides to keep it for theirself. The plot can simmer and thicken from there.

No one, nadrolski:
Make collecting tools—water buckets, candy boxes, herb baskets, etc—stealable shortly after they're grabbed. An expert thief (one with a high "borrowing" skill) might loiter in capitals around the reset and stand a(n un)fair chance of nabbing a tool while some poor citizen is trying to take it.

it´s all Rumis fault he took me by surprise used my tiredness of the morning to "trick" me into my first role. I thank you again for your trust Rumi and will give my best to fill the role. I will work together with whomever is willing to do so to continue your work. Hopefully we will be able to let the seeds grow which you were planting a long time back.

Well, let's put this out:

1) We are playing a game on a game. Do things work like they realistically would? No. But that's ok because we are playing like we actually have the ability to sap life when slicing at people with swords. And that some people think or move faster than others. Or, look out, that we have awesome aim, can cast magic, and get stronger off the demise of others. So why not have somebody with an authoritative tone of voice be able to inspire you?

2) Because we seem to want to make this connect to rl somehow, are there not people who sometimes tell you "That was nicely done, keep up the good work"? Does that little comment not give you good feels and make you feel like you're actually doing good? Don't you sometimes work a bit harder to impress the person who complimented you once in hopes that they might compliment you again? Even if they are not exactly your friend or might not even be a person you like in spite of ourselves? Heck I'm happy when people tell me that I gave a nice 2 sentence example in class, when somebody tells me I have a good concept for a project I'm jazzed.

Samon, I guess I just don't like how RL-based that element of the gameplay is. DOM is an RPG inside an RPG, and it seems like the further nested you go, the less the outside world (irl timing) becomes important.

If Players A and B have the same agility and strike player Z in the same phase, with player Z being killable by either of their strikes, roll a six-or twelve-sided die. If the result is odd, A gets the mod; if even, B gets it.
If three players strike someone down at the same time, a roll of 1 or 2 gives A the kill, 3 or 4 goes to B, and 5 or 6 to C.
In the highly unlikely case of four or more players killing someone at once, roll as above for A vs. B and C vs. D and roll the winners of those against each other until you're down to one.

I think it's nice that you can use inspire for more than just helping out your friends. It's just another trick you should be prepared for. Further more it's not to hard to avoid if you have someone with the necessary leadership skills amongst your own, and when you don't... It's no surprise things go a little awry at times.

Zyrxae got a reaction from John Constantine in Forum Reputation System Poll
I've talked to Chewett and apparently the following reputation options are possible:

        •    'Like' system—what we currently have. You can now view who likes what posts, by the way; thanks Chew!
        •    Positive and negative, transparent rep
        •    Positive only, transparent rep—almost the same as the like system, but you have to click to view who liked what
        •    Negative only, transparent rep
        •    Positive and negative, opaque—what we used to have
        •    Positive only, opaque
        •    Negative only, opaque
        •    No reputation system at all—means what it sounds like.

Transparent means you can see how people have voted on posts; opaque means you can't.

Options such as making negative but not positive votes transparent or vice versa aren't supported by the forum software.

Some discussion has already taken place on this topic, but it's been over a month and people's opinions may have changed.

Lastly: I have an opinion about this topic. If you consider this poll biased, say so and we can go from there.
A tiebreaker poll could be used in case of a runoff, but that may be unnecessary—we'll see.

i brought up road to eros too, however things are a bit different here

in both cases names were put up for historical purpose

difference is, in this case it is put as an insult, if it got renamed into Plains of Love or somethin alike then there wouldnt be any basis for complaint

its pretty clear that reason for name changed by unknown person was to insult, s/he pretty much said that Liberty=Everlasting Stench, and since that person who changed name didnt spoke up anywhere about this name change, then its obvious its all about insult, if person had any good intentions/reasons for namechange s/he would speak up but instead s/he decided to remain silent becoz why would s/he stand up if his/her intention is to insult

i wonder wut would you do if your name got equalized with everlasting stench? wouldnt you get insulted? thats clear breakin of rule for scene name change

With all due respect to everyone here.
I don't think such things should be discussed on the open forum.
Magistra should present Mur (if she doesn't trust Chewett about it) with details about when and what happened for the investigation. Privately.
Right now it's turning into nasty kind of gossip with very little facts and growing accusations on how people "understand" some unclear insinuations.

Zyrxae reacted to Mallos in Organizable Inventory
As the title says, that our ingame "Inventory" items could be organized however we want.

Such as, moving certain items to the top (or wherever) of the inventory for easier finding and fast use. Besides that other benefits could include not accidentally using the wrong item when you go to click another one. Say I don't want to drag my slave instead of grabbing a candy from my candy box.

(this could be for only us to see, and maybe others would see our inventory as normal when looking into it)

Feasible to code?

Anyone have anything to say regarding whether they'd like this feature or not?

That sounds wonderful! I'm pretty sure I've messaged the majority of active people at least once in the past year (PMs last a year as of ann. 2153), so this would be a great way to contact pretty much anyone whenever!

Wait a minute...

(In all seriousness, this could be solved by having search-by-author only look through messages from, say, the past two months.)

(that said, I do understand if it's meant for chat to be more transient like the concept of not PM-ing people unless you are "local" to them.  Symbolically, it's a neat idea.  jsut not as "convenient", so I would understand if it's kept un-copy-able for now)

Ah, now I get it.
Your idea is interesting and it solves the issue with selling unmelted morphs + might add a new recipe to the few that we already have thus increasing the...fun.
But the issues you've raised (transferring things that should bot be transferred) stand for the rest of the creatures as well. Right now when you totemize a crit, you basically freeze it with all it has (age, wins, xp). If the reverse process (bringing the crit to life) is implemented the way Mur wanted in the first place, well....hell will break loose.

So, until we don't see how the "extraction" process works it's a bit premature to talk about this. Yes, we can propose ideas (it's healty and fun) but who knows what Mur might come up with and NONE of our ideas will fit.

For example, I would like to see a recipe for each type of creature (to extract a drachorn, you need a certain amount of resources - also this can be scaled -the more you have/use the better the extraction aka the more wins, xp, age the drach will get and so on). I will also like to see creatures being extracted only on particular days of the week/month and only in particular places.

Morphs are just the tip of the iceberg.
